A representation of Spring, this Native American woman planting corn is one of four “maidens” from Christian Petersen’s Fountain of the Four Seasons at Iowa State University. In cooperation with Barre Sculpture Studios in Barre, VT, Taylor and Evan carved this reproduction of Petersens’s original 1941 work in Indiana Limestone. The reproductions will be installed in the renovated fountain.
